Optical design
The specialized program ZEMAX is used for optical designing - it provides the conception, modeling, analysis and optimization and establishes the tolerances for any kind of optical system.
The program allows the improvement or the modification of the system's parameters, its optimization in order to obtain the best variance, satisfying the imposed requests. In addition, the ZEMAX program establishes the tolerances, the admissible variations. It analyses the eccentricities, the tilt or the non-uniformity of the diopters' surfaces and their effects on the system's performances.
The ZEMAX program also allows the thermal analysis, highlighting the way in which the environmental temperature and pressure influence the system's performances, as well as the effects of the optical coatings, the losses through reflection and absorption, when the radiation spreads due to the system.
