Objectives:
The main object of the present project is the development of a complex informational system allowing the provision of a trust and confidentiality climate for the population, state institutions etc., achieved by analyzing the valuable documents suspected to be forged, counterfeited, deteriorated or erased.

Innovative Aspects/research methodology:
In order to achieve this objective, the following are to be done:
       - Studies on the interaction of the UV-VIS-IR radiation with different materials, such as filigreed cellulose, pigments, hidden images etc.;
       - Evaluation of the radiation sources in terms of spectral composition, intensity, stability etc.
       - Evaluation of the detection sensors in the extended spectral range;
       - Computer processing, analysis and decision, database.
Due to the proposed objective, the achievement of the project imposes a multi-disciplinary research activity requiring knowledge of physics, mathematics, computer sciences, optics, electronics and fine mechanics.
The theme field is well defined through the suggested objective, having in mind the preoccupation of the governments in certain European countries, but not only, concerning the falsified documents, counterfeiting (which has become a major problem in Romania as well), forgery, inscribing erasure etc. - all these elements make us state that by achieving this project we can contribute to providing a trust climate and document confidentiality, a major demand of the democratic system.

Rezults:
       The main result of the project achievement is determined by the fact that we managed to create a scientific entity in a strategic field for Romania, in the perspective of joining the EU that is in diminishing corruption, false and counterfeiting. Another result that we are expecting is to bring a contribution to the extension of the technical and scientific possibilities of the equipment in this field, to face the present challenges generated by the above presented phenomena. 
       The theoretical studies achieved in the first stages will be validated through experiments that are why we will highly emphasize the experimental side, on the stand, at the beginning and later on the model and prototype.
We expect this activity to increase the practical scientific competence level of each member in the consortium.

       - The matrix effect on spectrochemical analysis accuracy of AISI 316 biomaterials grades;
       - Spectrochemical (SDAR-OES), electron microscopy (ESEM-EDS) and optical microscopy investigation of some biocompatible AISI 316 grades. (BiomMedD 2006)
